The course wasn’t easy, but Amanda was always there to guide me though, whether it be theory or practical. I have just finished the iPet network Qualification Level 3 Diploma in dog grooming and management, at Dog-a-holic grooming academy. Well what can I say, this was the best decision I’ve ever made! The course has given me so much knowledge and confidence to open my own mobile dog grooming business. Amanda Draper (tutor) was amazing throughout this course, she’s very understanding and patient. The environment at the training school is very calm and relaxed. Amanda also gives you the opportunity to work in a real salon environment as well which really opens your eye to what working as a dog groomer really is. The course is personalised to your needs and is very flexible. The online portfolio was also very easy to complete. Model dogs range from puppies to newfoundlands, all needing different grooming requirements. The course is very practical and fast paced which worked for me. The first aid course was also very helpful. If you are thinking about starting a qualification, I would highly recommend Amanda at Dog-a-holic grooming academy!

I did my Level 3 qualification with Dogaholic and absolutely loved it. Amanda is an amazing tutor who felt really comfortable and relaxed. She is a great tutor. I groomed a variety of dogs over my 15 days which was amazing and after I passed I was allowed to go back to the salon and groom to keep gaining experience whilst I was waiting for my business to start. Cant thank you enough loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend if you’re wanting a change in career to choose this with IPET. I quit my job and i’ll never look back 😊 xxx

I would definitely recommend doing a course with Amanda at dog-a-holic. I’ve just finished the practical element of the 15 day course and I’ve loved it. I’ve learnt loads and the course is very hands-on. I’ve groomed over 35 dogs during the course!

I’m on my 3rd day of training, I’m learning about different breeds, techniques, equipment, you deal with live dogs every day during training, Amanda has made feel relaxed and welcome in this environment, I feel like I’m learning more and more each time I come, it’s been a great opportunity for me, highly recommend! 😄
